Tracy McDaniel ND, LM graduated from Bastyr University in 2002 with her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, and received additional Certification in Naturopathic Midwifery in 2003.
Tracy offers naturopathic primary care for women and children, including comprehensive midwifery services for women and families desiring a home birth or birth in a free standing birth center. Tracy attends births at 3 area birthing centers; Seattle Home Maternity Service and Childbirth Center in Seattle, Puget Sound Birth Center in Kirkland and Cascade Birth Center in Everett. Water birth is an option at both birth center or home.
Naturopathic pediatric care includes regular well child visits and growth assessment, breastfeeding support, an individualized approach to planning and administering vaccinations, discussion of food introduction and education regarding natural remedies for use at home including food, herbs and homeopathic medicines.
Tracy has completed advanced training in breastfeeding support through Evergreen Hospital's Lactation program. She teaches at Bastyr University and Seattle Midwifery School. She is passionate about protecting families' rights to make educated decisions about their healthcare and has served on the boards of both the Midwives Association of Washington State and the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
